On the territory of the TDC project, the cross-border dimension between France and Switzerland is established by differents actions as :
OPENING OF THE BELFORT-DELLE-BIEL TRAIN LINE
The opening of the Belfort-Delle-Biel trainline in December 2018 created a new connection between the District of Belfort, the Republic and the Canton of Jura, as well as the French-speaking region of the Canton of Bern. TDC has become an example of the dynamism of cross-border collaborative projects. For the inauguration of the trainline, VIADANSE and AICC presented JONCTION, a community project bringing together inhabitants from Belfort and from the Swiss Jura region around a collective production presented by Éric Lamoureux.
CULTURAL ENCOUNTERS
Since 2019, every year, cultural encounters involving pupils from France and Switzerland have been organized on a yearly basis since 2019. One objective is the creation of a cross-border event bringing together nonprofessional and professional practices and audiences from both countries.
